My Story
How it all began.
Canine Cardio Newport is owned and run by our best friend, Gabby. She is animal obsessed but especially loves dogs!
A long time before we were born, our human mum and her family rescued a 7 month old puppy called Jed (pictured above) in 2004. He had a wonderful life filled with unlimited love and happy times. Sadly, he went over the rainbow bridge in 2017 at the age of 13 and left a huge void in their lives. Thanks to Jed's unconditional love and companionship he always showed my family they realised it was too painful to be without a dog.
In May 2017 I came along to help heal my human mum's broken heart. I am a golden Labrador Retriever and she welcomed me to my forever home as an 8 week old puppy and named me Charlie. In May 2018 I was lucky enough to be promoted to big brother. My family and I welcomed my little sister Luna into our home at the age of 5 months old. She is a rescue pup who travelled all the way from Romania. She didn't have the best start in life but thanks to mine and my family's unconditional love and nurturing Luna has really come out of her shell and is very much enjoying being part of our family. We have since gone on to welcoming Lily the miniature Dachshund and Nova the Labrador to our family. We come as a quad and are best friend's. Our favourite pastime is running through the water playing with our favourite toy, or anything that means we can be together for that matter.
We love nothing more than going on adventures with each other, our friends and our family. Our favourite memories take place at the beach, forests, canals and parks and it is so so fun making all these new doggie friends. We have the best life and we are extremely lucky to have found our forever home with Gabby.

My name is Gabby. I have grown up with a variety of animals and have a passion for their well-being. This passion and serving others has driven me to set up Canine Cardio Newport.
I have lots of previous experience and come from a customer focused background so understand how important it is to meet the needs of our customers.
I provide a professional and reliable animal care service throughout the whole year with the animals welfare being paramount.
To give each individual pet the attention they deserve we limit how many we care for. Dog walks are limited to a maximum of 4 dogs. We won't walk dogs together if their personalities do not match.
We offer prices at a competitive rate with similar local dog walking and pet sitting businesses.
We take account of the distinct personalities of all our animals and cater for these consequently e.g. suitable distance walks identified.
To help us in this we conduct an initial assessment to reassure customers of our professionalism and ensure your pet is comfortable in our care.
We will always treat your pets with the same love, care and devotion that we give to our very own pampered pets!

Since much of our time is spent on the road, fuel is an expense we try to keep at a minimum in order to pass on savings to our clients. For this reason, we keep our service area contained to Newport postcodes. For example:
